Don Jazzy Is Disturbed! Mavin Boss Shares Thoughts On Nigeria With New Song

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Mavin Records CEO Don Jazzy shared his thoughts on Nigeria and the ongoing series of negative messages that are gradually defining the modern Nigerian perception, through a new song titled "Arise".

According to a close source in Mavin HQ "Don Jazzy has been particularly disturbed by the strong effect these negative messages are having on the mind of his fellow Nigerians, he feels like people have come to expect the worse from the country he loves so much. He strongly believes that; it is the responsibility of each and every Nigerian to make Nigeria a better place. But if the people no longer believe, how can they be engaged for change?"

Arise is an up-tempo song about belief and pride in the Nigerian heritage and potential. Released as Don Jazzy's contribution to the International Peace Day, the song also features vocals from Reekado Banks and Di'Ja.

This song isn't just another hit banger from the prolific Mavin Records CEO. It's a window to his soul, a glimpse of his thought process, and the child of his good conscience. Listen, download, slow down and feel.

Then he saw through the window that the master had caught his friends and was flogging them. He panicked. Quietly, he began to scurry away to the hostel. His heart was burdened with fear and dread that he began to cry. He prayed his friends would not open up and mention his name. Mr. Jacobs ordered Bawa to lie down but the fat boy was still pleading. Tanko quickly dropped his shorts and lay in front of the Whiteman. The master dealt him hard strokes and Tanko cried out in pains. "Now Boy, it's your turn. I haven't got all morning," the master said calmly, even bored. "Please sir," Bawa pleaded, crying hysterically. "Lie down Boy and take your strokes," the Whiteman said, his voice rising a pitch higher. "Please sir, I will not do it again. We are not the ....
