Gov. Rochas Okorocha Wants to Run for Presidency in 2015!

The Imo state Governor  RochasRochaseOkorochalared his intention of becoming Nigeria's next president come the 2015 elections. The governor who spoke with newsmen this week, said he was being pressurized to pick up the presidential ticket under the APC. He took a swipe at the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, describing them as "an embodiment of unprogressive minds, who have taken the country several years backward because of poverty of vision." He then continued, by saying;

"I am considering taking a shot at the Presidency because the pressure is too high and I believe I have the capacity to transform our country for the better"

He further gave an account of monies accruing to some states from the federation account, stressing that allocations to Imo state was being properly utilized, whilst denying all allegations thathis government had no respect for the rule of law...
